Randan Press

Laura Stroud and Peter Billingham created Randan Press to self-publish books.

Randan Press is not a publishing house, publishing agent, or company. All their books are self-published through KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), IngramSpark, and similar book self-publishing platforms.

Randan Press is the press name we use to self-publish books.

Why? The name and logo have a significant connection to Peter’s father and Laura’s grandad.

For several reasons, Peter’s father turned to writing to make a living, and writing was good to him at the time he needed it. He honed his craft on a portable Smith Corona typewriter. Teaching himself journalism and writing for magazines. With his self-belief in his ability, plus his incredible work ethic, he made a living.

His writing DNA is in our family. It’s in our blood. He understood what it took to be a writer, and we wanted to acknowledge him in all our writing.

The pen-name Randan Press is our way of doing that to honour his memory.
