Subscription Products

You may choose to subscribe to our subscription products. By purchasing one of these products, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and that you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation.

We will submit periodic charges (monthly) without further authorisation from you until you opt-out of auto-renewal via your membership account. The month that you order your first prompt box is the first prompt box edition that you will receive. For example, if you subscribe any time between May 1-21, your recurring subscription will begin with the May Box.

The initial payment will be taken at checkout. For subsequent boxes, payments are automatically scheduled to withdraw on the same date that you purchased the first box. We cannot change these payment dates. If you are unhappy with your subscription product, please let us know, we will try to fix the problem, if we can’t, we will happily issue a refund.

You can cancel anytime. However, if we have already posted the box, you will not be entitled to a refund that month. Your subscription will end after the delivery of the box in transit. We aim to post the subscription boxes on the 22nd of each month. Cancelling a subscription will not cancel and refund the delivery orders that have been paid for, it only stops future renewal charges.

‘Pay What You Can’ Places

We are pleased to say we now offer a ‘pay what you can’ place on our courses and workshops.

This is available for those who identify as being part of a marginalised group, based on the Equality Act (UK). Once you’ve decided on the course you’d like to attend, please email info@derbyshirewritingschool.com, letting us know what’s affordable for you, and if the place is still available, we’ll send over a discount code.

Please note there is only one ‘pay what you can place’ per course or workshop. This will be allocated on a first come first served basis. You will not be asked to provide evidence, nor asked to clarify why you are eligible, and this information will be kept confidential from any other attendees. We want this process to be as easy as possible for you.

We will only allow individual to apply for one ‘pay what you can place’ per year, to ensure others can have the opportunity. Retreats, products, coaching and any other service are excluded from this offer at this time.

Courses and workshops require a minimum number of attendees to run. If the course or workshops you’ve secured as part of the ‘pay what you can’ scheme does not run due to low numbers, you will be offered the opportunity to join the course when it runs again.
