Overview
In this workshop we’ll explore:
What creative writing is – looking at different styles and genres.
The importance of books and reading.
How to develop your creativity muscle – with lots of writing activities.
Where ideas come from.
How to feel more confident when writing.

By the end of our time together, you’ll have an action plan to help you develop your writing in a way that feels right for you and you’ll leave feeling more confident.
Things you need to know:
There is never any pressure to share. You don’t have to read any work out loud if you don’t want to.
We don’t use break out rooms. You won’t be working with anyone else.
We keep our group sizes small. We want to get to know you and your writing. For this workshop, there will be a maximum of 6 people.
No experience is necessary! This is a beginner’s workshop. It’s relaxed, informal, and fun. We want you to enjoy writing.
Come prepared to write.
Our workshops are fast-paced and jam-packed with writing tasks and ideas. Leaving you with lots of activities you can continue within your own time.
We design these sessions to be fun and casual, a chance to take some time out of your busy week and exercise your creative skills, develop your knowledge and enjoy writing with like-minded people.
