Course Length: The course is delivered in three sessions, over three weeks. Each session is 90 minutes long. We are running this course in the AM and PM please select a ticket for your chosen time.

Our course will talk you through the most common mistakes, secrets, and the top tips you need to know to self-publish a book to be proud of. We’ll show you how you can get your self-published book on Waterstones.com, or even create a hardback version, whilst keeping the costs low.

This week we’ll set the scene. Uncovering what self-publishing is, the pros and cons of taking charge of your publishing and some unexpected hard truths about self-publishing.
We’ll also start to explore your personal goals and reasons for choosing self-publishing.

During the second week of the course, we’ll introduce you to our 7-step self-publishing plan. You’ll need to work through each stage to ensure your book is in the best possible shape for publication.
This includes: research, writing, editing, formatting, publishing, distribution and marketing.

During the last week of our course, we’ll look at some of the advanced elements of self-publishing including, developing an author platform, rights and permissions, and the mindset challenges you may face.
You’ll also create your action plan during this session, so you’ll leave the course knowing what to do next.
What’s more:
Self-publishing takes a lot of work, but it doesn’t have to feel hard, it can be fun. Each week we’ll set a ‘homework’ task to help you develop your learning and increase your understanding of self-publishing.
Our courses are fast-paced and jam-packed with information. We teach in a creative and practical way. You’ll find your sessions filled with prompts and tasks as well as detailed information broken down into practical steps for you to action.
When the course starts, you’ll also receive a digital copy of our Introduction to Self-publishing Workbook.
We are only offering 5 places for this course. You will work with a small, intimate group of like-minded people. We wanted to create a supportive environment to allow you to feel comfortable and confident.
You’ll have email support throughout the course, should you have questions or need help.
After completing the course, you’ll gain access to a private storyteller’s Facebook group, exclusively for our course alumni. The group is bursting with regular ideas, prompts, tips and a supportive community full of like-minded people to help you on your writing journey.
